Aircraft Pictures is an independent film, television and digital content production company creating quality, scripted entertainment for a worldwide audience. With offices in Toronto and Los Angeles, the company’s principal producing partners are Anthony Leo and Andrew Rosen – both of whom were included in Playback Magazine’s recent juried New Establishment list. Since its inception, Aircraft has financed, produced and delivered scripted content for a variety of platforms ranging from independent feature films to high-end television series.
Projects currently in production include the animated feature film The Breadwinner based on the novel of the same name by Deborah Ellis – a Canada/Ireland/Luxembourg co-production with Cartoon Saloon and Melusine Productions in association with Executive Producer Angelina Jolie; three television movies based on the Bruno & Boots book series by legendary Canadian young adult fiction author Gordon Korman and the animated supernatural comedy feature film Todd & The Book of Pure Evil: The End of the End.
Recent credits include the Kidscreen Award-winning single-camera comedy Raising Expectations created by Tom Saunders (Arrested Development) and starring Jason Priestley and Molly Ringwald; Dark Matter – the NBC Universal web series prequel to the Heroes: Reborn television reboot; a series of shorts for Sesame Street; the internet motion picture Cybergeddon by C.S.I. creator Anthony E. Zuiker; the Canadian Screen Award winning live action comedy Todd & The Book of Pure Evil; and the tween sitcom What’s Up, Warthogs! Collaborations with Dolphin Films include the feature film Justin Bieber’s BELIEVE and four television movies in the Roxy Hunter series for Nickelodeon.
